France - Chauvigny to Paris

Chauvigny's medieval city is unique in that it contains 5 fortified chateaus grouped togther with a single outer wall along a rocky promontory above the newer buildings that now make up Chauvigny. The fortified walls of one end of the old city and its largest castle and towers can be seen here built upon the cliffs.
